    The WR Group was founded in Hamburg in 2008. Today it consists of four companies under one roof – each with significant tradition and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Here are WR Group’s most important milestones.

    • Sanavita takes over the traditional German brand Vagiflor.
    • Consolidation of the companies under the umbrella of the WR Group as a 100% subsidiary of Braun Beteiligungs GmbH (BBG).
    • WR Group exceeds 30 million € turnover.
    • Sanavita takes over Helm Medical GmbH, based in Hamburg, Germany.
    • Walter Ritter GmbH takes over Rubiepharm Arzneimittel GmbH, based in Steinau, Germany.
    • BBG acquires Sanavita Pharmaceuticals GmbH based in Werne, Germany.
    • Frank Köhler is appointed CEO of the companies.
    • Relocation of the company headquarters to Hamburg, Germany, Germany.
    • Braun Beteiligungs GmbH (BBG) acquires Walter Ritter GmbH based in Hamburg, Germany. Walter Ritter is thus integrated into the Pharma M&A Competence Center of BBG around the company Cheplapharm Arzneimittel GmbH.
